Wall was Feb. 19th. There were around 320 wrestlers there and we sent 18 wrestlers.
Here are the placings:
1st: Reece Heltzel, Levi Williams, Cash Wilson, McCoy Peterson, Cody Donnelly and Jesse Hostutler.
2nd: Pedro Dennis, Victor Dennis, Brit Morrison, Ethan Burnett, Hunter Peterson and Ryker Peterson.
3rd: Trey Elshere and Lincoln Koehn.
4th: Sawyer Smith, Bryan Letellier and Parker Snyder.
5th: Gage Ravellette.
Philip was Feb. 20th. We had 134 wrestlers that braved the snow to come to Philip . We had 26 of our wrestlers participate. The tournament took about 2.5 hours.
Here are the results:
1st: Cody Donnelly, Stratton Morehart, Eastan West, Jesse Hostutler, Reece Heltzel, Rance Johnson, Sawyer Smith, Layton Terkildsen, Brit Morrison and Keagan Fitch.
2nd:Hunter Peterson, Ethan Burnett, Bosten Morehart, Licoln Koehn, Levi Williams, Lane Kuckenbecker, Ryker Peterson, Jensen Fitch, Tukker Boe and Gage Ravellette.
3rd:Victor Dennis, Cash Wilson andTrey Elshere.
4th: Bryan Letellier, McCoy Peterson and Kade Fitzgerald.
I want to say Thank You to all the parents that brought in food, worked at the tournament and stayed to help clean up the gym. I want to say Thank You to Mr. Donnelly, Mr. Morehart and the Philip Area wrestlers for helping at the tournament also. I also want to say a BIG Thank you to the kids coaches: Brad Heltzel, JR Snyder, Trevor Fitch, Michael Peterson, Lee Dennis and who ever else helped with these boys. If wasn't for all the help from the Coaches, Parents and all the Volunteers this wouldn't be possible. The wrestlers are now busy getting ready to participate at Districts, which will be held in Kadoka on March 3rd. Good Luck guys!!!!

GIRLS: Girls will be handled just like the boys. They are entered at the division at which they weighed in for. They must make that same weight for the following tournaments they qualify for.
Each age group will wrestle 3-1:30 minute periods.
This year each region will be allowed to bring the top 4 to state at a certain age group. Region 1 will be SCHOOLBOYS and CADETS, Region 2 will be TOTS, Region 3 will be BANTAMS, Region 4 it will be MIDGETS and Region 5 it will be NOVICE.
Wrestler Information:
AAU card is required at check-in and AAU cards must be pre-ordered online at www.aausports.org. AAU cards will not be sold the day of the tournament. It is highly recommended that all people have a copy of the athlete’s birth certificate with them. Any challenges on age must be made before the start of the tourney it cannot be done during. If a person is going to issue a challenge they must do it with the tournament director and be present during the verification. This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S., Inc.
Coaches Information:
Coaching is allowed but the coaches must have their AAU coach’s card prior to the tournament. All coaches’ cards must be purchased ahead of time. This is done online at www.aausports.org. Cards will be stamped and appropriate fees paid for at districts. Only those individuals with coaching passes will be allowed mat-side.

Practice Schedule
We will NOT be having practice on Tuesday night ( the 21st). We will have practice on Thursday. Starting Monday the 27th we will be having practice Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday (is optional) and on Thursday's. This is to help those that are getting ready to go to Districts. Even if you choose not to go to Districts you can still come to practice and be a GREAT wrestling partner. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WRESTLERS AT THE NEXT TWO TOURNAMENTS!

Lincoln also went to Lead/ Deadwood and he got 1st.
