Concession Stand

Just a quick note for those that were unable to come to the Pot Luck.  We have decided that we (the AAU club) will be taking over the concession stand again during our tournament.  I will do my best to on scheduling that also. 

Open Gym

Philip Open Gym:
We are going to try having open gy for the kids interested in continuing the sports of their choice.

The plan is to have the open gym from 3:00-5:00 p on Sunday's starting on the 15th of April and coutinuing through the summer.  The kids can play basketball, volleyball or wrestle.  We will have an adult present to open thd gym and if the interest is high and the kids continue to come we will try to have an adult that can help with each sport.  This is not required of anyone and they don't have to come if they have something going on that day.

Our goal is to keep the kids intersted in the sports and above all make sure they are having fun and improving at the same time.

 Just a reminder if the weight room is open after school if you would like to use that also.

Awards Night

Congrats to ALL of the wrestlers from this season.  You ALL did an awsome job!!!

Brittany Smith was able to reserve 10 rooms for State in Brookings.  THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!

Someone gave me an idea for a fund raiser for the AAU wrestling club.  We might be able to sell the Butter Braids.  We might do this before Thanksgiving, that way the stuff would be here by then.  If any one else has any ideas PLEASE let me know.

POT LUCK

WE WILL BE HAVING OUR ANNUAL POT LUCK AND AWARDS NIGHT THIS THURSDAY(12th). IT WILL BE IN THE ELEMENTRY GYM AT 6pm. PLEASE BRING YOUR WRESTLERS SINGLET AND FOR THE WRESTLERS THAT MADE IT TO STATE PLEASE WEAR A AAU SHIRT FOR WE ARE GOING TO TAKE A TEAM PICTURE. PLATES, SILVERWEAR, NAPKINS AND CUPS WILL BE PROVIDED. IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT TO THE POT LUCK PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND WE WILL MAKE SOME ARRANGEMENTS TO HAND THE SINGLET IN.

On the last post that I made, if we all got together and sent the board members an email maybe they could change things. Talk to your friends that have AAU wrestlers and ask them to do the same thing!!

Who and when can we talk to & vote for the following years to come to switch between Sioux Falls and Rapid City? At least they have the capacity to house everyone!

STATE

I am looking for volunteer(s) to look for rooms for state in Brookings next year. I figure we should have at leaste 10-12 rooms. Thank you!!!!
