Weigh-Ins: Saturday, Feb. 4th – 6:30a.m to 8:00a.m.
Coaches Meeting: 9:30 a.m.
Wrestling Begins: 10:00 a.m.
Tournament Fees: $5.00 per wrestler/coach/adult/student, non-wrestlers under 5 - free
Matside Coaching: Coaches MUST show their Non-Athlete AAU card to receive a coach’s
band. (No Exceptions!)
Bracket: 5-Man Round Robin (3 – 1.5 minute periods, individual timing)
Awards: Trophies – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Medals - 4th and 5th place
(must wrestle at least one match to receive an award)
Age Categories: 6-U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 (wrestle the age you will be in 2012)
Boys will only wrestle boys, girls will only wrestle girls!
AAU card and copy of birth certificate required for all wrestlers
Concessions: Breakfast served from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Large selection provided – open all day!

This Weekend Tournaments Results

Jan. 27th: Brad took 14 kids to Wagner and they did very well. The team got 1st place. We had 10 Champions and 4 Second placers.
Results:
Champions were: Stratton, Jadyn, Hunter, Blair, Burke, Jace, Parker, Reece, Cody and McCoy.
Second Place: Ryker, Bosten, Jesse and Cash.
Jan. 28th: There was 10 wrestlers that went to Douglas. There were 500 wrestlers.
Results:
1st: Pedro, Brit, Sawyer, Eastan, Kaylor, and Lincoln.
2nd: Gage and Bryan.
3rd: Victor
4th: Trey
A BIG Thank You to Lee, Kevin, Heathe and Cory for coaching the boys.
Congrats to ALL the wrestlers.

T-shirt orders

I will be sending home flyers for Spearfish and Winner home and a order form for the shirts with your wrestler. If you are going to Winner I need to know soon, for it is a preregister tournament.
Please remember to have your shirt order(s) to me by this Thursday the 19th.

January 14th: 8 wrestlers attended the Rapid City Cobbler tournament. It was another great day. Thank you to Beau Ravellette on helping out as much as he could.
Results:
7-8 year olds: Gage Ravellette 2nd, Stratton Morehart 1st.
9-10 year olds: Bosten Morehart 2nd, Victor Dennis 3rd, Ethan Burnett 4th.
11-12 year olds: Cash Wilson 2nd, Parker Snyder 5th, Trey Elshere 2nd.
January 15th: We had 22 wrestlers attend the Rapid City Westside tournament. We had a great day. Thank you to ALL the coaches that helped at this tournament.

6-U year olds: Jensen Fitch 4th, Lincoln Koehn 1st.

AAU SHIRTS

HERE IS THE DESIGN FOR THE NEW SHIRTS. I FORGOT TO PUT SOME ITEMS ON IT.

THE LETTERS WILL BE ORANGE, THE SHIRT WILL BE BLACK AND THE WRESTLING GUY WILL BE WHITE.

I HAVE A SIZING CHART NOW. I WILL BRING IT TO THE WESTSIDE TOURNAMENT AND I WILL HAVE IT WITH ME ON TUESDAY ALSO.

ON THE BACK OF THE SHIRTS YOU CAN PUT A NAME, NAMES, NICKNAMES OR LEAVE IT BLANK.

IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 2 WEEKS TO GET THEM HERE.

MADYSON MOREHART WILL HAVE SOME ORDER FORMS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND I WILL HAVE THEM AFTER THAT. THANK YOU- NICOLE
